Back in 2021 I had the pleasure to sing at this church for the homecoming service and am pleased to be going back for their 2025 homecoming celebration. A wonderful bunch of people who enjoy singing and worshiping the Lord and then can fix up a good country style potluck lunch as good as anyone and better than many others. When contacting music director Kenneth Matthews to let him know I was singing again, but with a new group, low and behold he had no one booked for this 2025 homecoming and asked if we were available. I had a tentative church penciled in on this date and told him I`d have to check. Due to a mix-up the other church didn`t think we were still singing and had booked someone for that date just before I called. I told them to keep us in mind for next year and immediately called brother Kenneth to confirm his service. Next August, 2025, on the 10th, if you`re in the Cottontown area you are invited to come to Pleasant Valley Baptist and help us celebrate another year of faithful service!
