Back in November of 2024 Anchored was scheduled to be in service with the Open Door Baptist Church and when brother Doug Johnson called to confirm the date, he called another Anchored Qt that has a Facebook page and they informed him they are no longer singing. He had to get another group to replace us, even though we had no knowledge of this happening! Later when I called to confirm the date, he explained what had happened and we were able to get this straightened out. Evidently this has happened before with one or two other churches causing me to call the other group and ask if they received any more calls about confirmations about current dates to please refer them to us. Now brother Doug has asked us to bring our ministry to Open Door on Saturday, August 2, 2025. It`s taken us a while to get there and we`re glad to be going! The singing starts at 5:00PM and all are invited to attend. Look out Columbia, here we come, singing praises to our Lord. Why not join us?
