Pastor Tom Oakley, after checking with his committee, has confirmed that on Sunday, September 21, 2025, Anchored will be a part of their homecoming service. I believe our lead singer, Matt, may be kin to brother Oakley but for most of us this will be our first visit to this church. We will start the service at 10:30am, sing for about an hour, then turn it over to the preacher for a good biblical message. After the worship service all are invited to stay for a great homecoming meal prepared by the ladies, and some menfolk, of the church. Looking forward to celebrating another anniversary of service by Petersburg First Baptist with some good gospel music, preaching of the gospel, and fellowship and food with our brothers and sisters.
