Algood First Freewill Baptist generally have their singing on the second Sunday night of each month but in 2025 that is Mother`s Day. I contacted pastor Marty Carr as he had stated he`d like for us to return in 2025 when there in August, and as we will be coming back from a Maryville morning church service on May 18, the Sunday night service seemed an opportune time for us both. We had a wonderful time with this church and the congregation treated us like home folks, but after all, are we all not brothers in Christ? Live in Cookeville, Sparta, Algood, or any of the communities around?
