The Griffins are a Progressive Southern Gospel trio from Spartanburg, SC. The group has been ministering through song and personal testimony for a little over four years. Prior to The Griffins becoming a trio, Tim and Angela traveled as a duet and have been involved in the Southern Gospel Music industry for more than 40 years. The Griffins are official representatives of Love A Child, Inc., a Christian humanitarian organization located in Fort Myers Florida serving the needs of children in the impoverished nation of Haiti. The Griffins have performed at churches, concerts, events, festivals, and have made personal appearances by radio and television. ​Tim Griffin serves as the trio’s baritone and is an accomplished pianist with nearly 40 years in the Southern Gospel music industry. In 1980, Tim started his professional career playing piano for Alphus LeFevre and “The LeFevres” from Atlanta GA. Throughout his career in gospel music, he has had the privilege to work with artists such as Karen Peck Gooch, Mike LeFevre, Brian Free, Eva Mae LeFevre, Rosie Rozelle, and many others. In 1983 he helped to organize a male quartet from Spartanburg SC known throughout the Southeast as "The Regals" before forming The Griffins. Angela Griffin has a strong, rich alto voice and traveled throughout the Southeast singing with her family, The McCrays. On December 31, 2002 she married Tim Griffin. Tim and Angela then combined their musical talents and formed "The Griffins." They have traveled throughout the United States and Haiti sharing their musical talents.
