With a desire to minister to people through music, NEW CREATION came together in 2010 after spending one evening together singing three-part harmony. Our songs will warm your heart, make you smile and tap your feet! Our roots are in Locust Grove Church at Obed corner. The rural congregation founded in 1855 is a spiritual anchor in the community with the claim "we are out in the middle of nowhere but right in the middle of everywhere". We have a strong emphasis on missions far and near. Nola Bresnan grew up a preacher`s kid surrounded by music and Christian service. She is retired from Dawson & Wikoff LLC after more than 30 yrs as office mgr and partner. She has served as worship leader and choir director at Locust Grove, and is often asked to give keynote addresses at seminars. Scott Primmer attended Asbury College then spent four years in the Air Force. Now he serves his community as a fundraiser, runner, family farm manager and cowboy shooting enthusiast after retiring from Lowe`s. He has led Bible studies at his church and testifies wherever he goes. Sheila Forlines is semi-retired from Sloan Impl Co-John Deere after 37 yrs. She is church pianist, pre-K teacher, treasurer, and has led choir chimes at Locust Grove. We have a wonderful sound man in John Bob Jordan. He is a retired farmer after his early stint with the Air Force. He has been layleader and trustee over the years, a true brother in Christ, and always has a PTL on his lips. God has blessed all of us more than you know. We look forward to sharing our stories with you and bringing God`s message of hope and love to the lost AND found!
