Genesis is a southern gospel ministry from Charleston WV, featuring Juanita Phillips that began in 2008 with best friends Juanita and Terri. In the following years the two traveled across many east coast states spreading the gospel in song. After several years, Terri was unable to continue so for the last ten years or so, Juanita has continued the ministry by herself as a solo singer. God has continued to bless throughout the years. Juanita is a singer and songwriter that was introduced to gospel music at an early age while going to church with an old time preacher man that happened to be her dad. An interest in playing with instruments along with singing quickly developed that would carry on for a lifetime. Beginning in January 2025, Juanita has teamed up with Corey Clark Ministries and will travel and sing as a group once again. The Clark family has been such a blessing to me. I want to thank all the churches that have opened their doors to me over the years to allow me to sing for the Lord.
