The Daybreak Quartet was formed in 1991 by four freshmen at a Christian college in the state of Florida. The group performed primarily acapella numbers for on-campus events for the next four years. After graduation, the group moved to Stockbridge, Georgia and began singing in area churches several times a month. In 1999, the quartet began traveling full time and now presents up to 175 concerts each year.
The Daybreak Quartet is a ministry-oriented group that exists to share Christ with the lost and to encourage born-again Christians in their walk with God. Each year, the quartet is involved with a number of evangelistic ministries and outreach events, including city-wide crusades, mission trips, youth camps and conferences, revivals and much more.
The quartet has sung from coast to coast and internationally, including a trip to Sydney, Australia during the 2000 Olympic Games. Notable appearances over the past few years include performances for the International Barbershop Quartet Convention, Atlanta Braves (on numerous occasions), and the 2007 Gospel Music Convention in Fraserburgh, Scotland as well as appearances on Gospel Music Television and other major media outlets.
