Chronicle is from Denham Springs, La. We have been singing over 20 years, But this April will make 9 years with Chronicle. We love Southern Gospel Music but more than that we love Our Lord. Tim Kinchen, our saxophone player has been playing sax since he was a young boy, and knew when he surpassed what the band teacher was teaching, that it was the hand of God. He has always played for the Lord. He and his family helped with revivals all around Louisiana during his childhood. He sings with anointing and loves the Lord very much! He loves people and loves to see God Move. Tim also plays guitar and bass, but mainly the 3 different saxophones in Chronicle`s set. Missy Kinchen adopted into a Louisiana family at around 6 months old, came to know the Lord through parents and mostly her grandmother, who lived behind her. Missy started singing as Tim her husband taught her, but she was very shy and would just sing backup and not lead. She would even shake when holding the microphone.. but kept saying and praying "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". God was faithful, and now that battle is won, and she gives all glory to HIM. Not saying that I never get scared, but HE always helps me through it! Tim and Missy have been married 31 years this month, have one son Tim Kinchen Jr. daughter in law Christie Chavers Kinchen and a grandson, Kolsen. We love our family! Very thankful for the calling on our lives and never take it for granted, praying for souls to be won in 2018.
