Steven grew up in a small town in the hills of West Virginia,where at the young age of eight it was inevitable that he was destined to sing. During his early years, you could find him playing piano and singing every Sunday with members of his family`s church.
After singing during his high school years and some during college,Steven joined his first group. He became part of the legendary "Calvary Echoes" headed by the inspiring songwriter Conrad Cooke, who wrote numerous gospel songs that can still be heard today in churches all across the country. After his season there.
Steven was then led to begin a solo ministry before forming his own group, The Royal Heirs. While Steven managed The Royal Heirs, he sang with , encouraged and promoted the talents of many young artists who are singing and performing today.
In 2002 Steven joined the cast of the Carolina Jamboree in Myrtle
Beach SC singing christain,country, and patriotic tunes with some of Myrtle Beachs most talented performers.
Over the course of Steven`s music career he has been blessed to be a part of church services and gospel concerts with many of today`s top Christian artists including, The Perrys, The Wilburns, Dottie Rambo, Gold City, The Singing Cookes, and many others.
Steven has penned numerous songs that are still popular today and some new up an coming songs you`ll want to be sure and look for and take a listen.
In 1996 Steven was involved in a tragic car accident in which a drunk driver severly injured him,took the life of a very dear and wonderful friend and almost killed another friend who were passengers in Steven`s car. After many tough days,unwavering Faith in God,and many prayers from all over,Steven recovered and was even more ready to spread the word of Jesus Christ and his healing power. You will hear Steven speak of his triumphant recovery and healing miracles that God bestowed upon him so that he may continue to lead others to Christ.
