We are a "Southern Gospel Trio" ministering the "Gospel" in song. Our trio consist of Mike and Tammy Vaughn from Halls, TN and Yelonda Lynch from Newbern, TN. Tammy and Yelonda are sisters and the daughters of Brother Hollis and Pat Adams of the Bruceville Community in Dyer County, TN. Brother Hollis, Pat, Tammy, and Yelonda began singing as "The Joyful Sounds" in the mid 1970s. Mike has been in groups such as "The Believers", "The Kingdom Heirs", "The Redemption-Aires Quartet", "The Challengers", and "The Calvary Trio". He joined "The Joyful Sounds" in 1981 after he and Tammy were married. In the year 2000, due to health and various reasons, we stopped our ministry but in the summer of 2008 Mike, Tammy, and Yelonda felt the call of God to reunite and spread the gospel of our Lord and savior, "Jesus Christ" in song. We "Praise God" for allowing us this opportunity "once again" to share our talents and testimony. If you would like to invite us to sing at your Church or special event, it would be our Honor!
