Kadie Lynn, At 2 and a half years old Kadie Lynn was already singing. She couldn’t read so she had to memorize her songs. Her first song to perform in church was Amazing Grace. The song leader used to actually hold her up to the microphone and let her sing. When she was about 4 and a half years old she sang at her first Opry. It was in Farmersville Texas at the Mainstreet Music Hall. Next they found out about a little Opry called the Hayseed Opry in her hometown of Cedar Creek Lake and she started singing there on occasion. Angela Cade and Rayburn Turner have taken her under their wing and have been a wonderful influence on her career. Later she auditioned for the Rodeo Music City Hall in Mesquite and met Robert Keller. He has been working with her since then. Kadie auditioned at Arlington Live Music Hall. It was one of her biggest auditions. She auditioned with 85 other people and only 20 were picked to perform on their stage. The audition went well. They booked her to come back and perform. She has sang at the Waxahachie Opry, Red Oak Opry, Wiley, Bristol, Farmersville, and the Pro Jam Fest by Rick Richards. Kadie loves to perform. The bigger the audience the happier she is. She sings Sundays in her church when she’s not singing in other churches. She’s been in several contests and just finished a contest in Point Texas where she came away with 2nd place. " She was up against grown adults singing so we were real happy about that. Now she gets to go to Abilene, at the end of January, where she gets to sing for the Farmers Convention. All expenses paid.", says Deborah Roberson. She will be performing on the Shipp Family Gospel Cruise Fest in November and will be singing in front of the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, Perry G. Christy.She has written one song by herself. Now her guitar instructor, Brad Roberson, is instructing her on the dynamics of writing her next song. They already have the chord progressions down and are getting very close to writing the lyrics. Deborah Roberson said, " She is 9 and her first song was a love song. With the help of her voice instructor Kimberly Torres, Kadie will be putting together songs for her first CD and will be traveling to South Carolina in the early summer for it`s production. Next she will make a Christmas CD and take those two CD’s to the Bahamas. God has got his hand in it. This we know for a fact. Kadie has a voice and God has put these people in our path to help her." When Kadie was asked what her goal was she replied, " My goal is to take these experiences and hopefully change peoples hearts."
As a Christian artist she has a very high goal. She will be performing at the Rodeo City Music Hall on January 26th in Mesquite, Texas. Robert Keller with Forty Seven Entertainment and RCMH, always have a wonderful line up and Robert adds Kadie as often as possible.
