Dear Friends in Southern Gospel Music, Our names are Gregory and Phyllis Ridenhour, and we would like to take just a few minutes to introduce ourselves and our ministry. Gregory is a southern gospel recording artist. He has independently released 3 solo albums. First one entitled “Because of Who You Are” in 2002, and the second one entitled "Wish You Were Here" in 2012, and third was "One Day At A Time" Favorite Hymns Vol. 1. Gregory married Phyllis on July 7, 2007. Phyllis is wonderful and loving wife, and is involved in our ministry every place we go. Gregory`s Personal Testimony
Gregory was born with a rare eye condition called Aniridia, which is congenital absence of the iris portion of the eye. After living with this condition since birth, he has become legally blind since 2006. He is able to see, but only things up close appear to be clear. Things farther away are not clear to him. God has blessed him in so many ways. He grew up in a Christian home, so he always felt that his vision impairment was allowed by God to be used to further the kingdom of Christ. It is not a disability, but an inconvenience that he has learned to live with. He believes that God will not allow anything in our lives that we can not handle without His divine help.
He was saved on April 12, 1978 during a revival service at Jonesboro First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, IL. He surrendered his life to full-time ministry at the age of 19 during a revival service at Anna First Baptist Church in Anna, IL.
His life has been far from perfect, but after surrendering to ministry heattended Hannibal-LaGrange Baptist College in Hannibal, MO, where he received his Bachelor degree in Christian Education, with a minor in Church Music, and a second Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
Gregory served as pastor of Beech Grove Baptist Church for a total of 5 years. He has always been active in music ministry. He has a loving and supporting wife, who loves to share in our ministry. She is his eyes to the world around him, when he`s unable to see something.

Although Gregory T. Ridenhour is in his early 40’s, he has been singing Gospel music for over 25 years. His experience has taught him that music can touch lives in ways nothing else can.
