Trinitas was formed December 2016 by Chanin and Mandy Barker of Shreveport, LA and Keith Copley of Tyler, TX. The Bible says in Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Chanin Barker was born in Meridian, Mississippi and raised in York, Alabama. Many things happened in the life of this man, but we won`t go into all the details. The one thing worth mentioning in the forefront is...he made Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of his life at an early age.
Music has always been a focal point in Chanin`s life. From singing beside his dad in the small church choir, to being minister of music, to singing with The RoyalHeirs quartet, Adoration, New Liberty Quartet and ministering with his wife, Mandy, he has always felt the call of God on his heart to minister in song. At 17, Chanin surrendered to the ministry and with God`s direction was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel on May 10th, 2000.
Mandy Bailey Barker was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and surrendered to ministry during her high school years and reaffirmed God`s call on her life about 20 years ago. Surrendering to God`s leadership for her life was a scary thing, since she wasn`t sure what God would ask her to do.
Mandy has sung with Dwelling Place, and the southern gospel mixed quartet, "Under His Wings", in 2001 God called her to minister with her husband, Chanin. She has had the opportunity go on several foreign mission trips and enjoys spreading the Good News abroad. She loves spending time with family and friends, but most of all, she loves to lead others to praise and worship her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Keith Copley was raised in a christian home in Shreveport, LA and attended Trinity Heights Baptist Church where he met his wife, Becky. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Tyler, TX and started a family.
Keith joined a small country church in Mixon, TX where he discovered a passion for singing to the Lord. There, he realized the power of the gospel in song and how it touched people. He soon surrendered to the call of God. The rest is history.
He has had the pleasure of singing with various groups (Mike and Karen Ranshaw, Undivided, Mercy River, Vision 4, and Redemption Trio) over his 26 years traveling and singing about his Savior and the hope we have in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
If Keith is not singing you will find him hanging out at the lake with family and friends. But, he is always willing and ready to help others and sing about his Savior.
God has blessed our group with daughters. Chanin and Mandy have a 10yo daughter named McKenzie. Keith and Becky have 4 girls, Darla-33, Haley-31, Caitlyn-26, and Jade-14. Another common bond between the couples is that both McKenzie and Jade were adopted from China when they were 9 months and 12 months respectively.
Trinitas shares a love for the Chinese people and a heart to see the gospel of Jesus Christ shared freely in that country. Please pray with us for God`s mighty power to move across this nation.
